Ragtime

The 62th U.S. Chess Championship and the 58th U.S. Women’s Chess Championship are to be held within a few days in Saint Louis, Missouri (April 17–30), with a special eye on Fabiano Caruana, who will challenge for the crown World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen next fall in London, England.
In the meantime, in a long interview with Evgeny Surov for Chess-News.ru, 13th World Chess Champion Garry Kimovich Kasparov ventured a kind of forecast: “In my opinion, Magnus still remains the favourite for the World match, but if he plays like he played with Karjakin, then Caruana is going to have big chances”.
